Festival of Plants
There is no set way to celebrate the Festivals but below is one example of how to celebrate the Festival of Plants on the 8th May or an adjacent weekend:
An altar or sacred space may be set up if required, please see the page on Festivals and Prayers.
Complete visualization (S18 to S22).
Say or think:
"I / Let us celebrate the Festival of Plants, The Festival of Earth. TEMP ANO KUN."
"We, the souls, are all one tribe and are one with all nature. Help us to live in harmony with the green plant life."
Light the candle (If you have one). While saying: "OL KEN" (All knowing which is the Pure Awareness)
Then say or think:
"I am/ We are grateful for the time since the Spring Equinox, TEMP ANO BAMB."
Close your eyes and breathe slower and deeper. Repeat the phrase “It is now” for some time.
Visualize a green flat horizontal plane stretching out all around, a plain of lush green grass.
Visualize a golden white light.
Then say or think:
"Forgive us for the wrongs we have done and for falling short of what we should be. Help us to see all things from your Pure Awareness."
"You are our highest aim and desire. May we be detached from all else but you."
"Kena we thank you for your message, the Weksek. We thank you that you are our guide and our Goddess. May we live knowing and living your joy. Living in pure joy with pure, childlike laughter and happiness. Show us the way to become one with the Pure Awareness."
"May we live in harmony with nature and each other, as people of the Earth, as one tribe."
Chant 5 times:
"OL KEN,
ASER SET,
KENA RES,
ANOS WEK." ***
Lastly say:
"Let the festival begin."
Celebrate with decorations of leaves and plants.
This can then be followed by drumming, music, food and drink, a walk in the forest etc.
*** OL KEN 126
ASER SET 126
KENA RES 126
ANOS WEK 126
This is a typical Weksek chant. It consists of 4 lines of 2 Concept words and contains a condensed Weksek theology.
Each line has a total value by adding up the Concept word values, which in this case equals 126. The values of the individual Concepts are shown to the right of the line total. In a good Weksek chant, one with symmetry and power, the lines will all add up to the same values, as seen in this example, 126. The first 2 lines have extreme symmetry and so contain a fundamental Weksek truth.
Each word in the first line also has the same value as the word in the second line. That is OL = 24 and ASER = 24 and KEN = 102 and SET = 102.
This translates in English as:
All Knowing, (Pure Awareness)
in Green Sitting,
The Woman (Kena) Goes,
the Cyclic Way.
The Pure Awareness is sitting within the green plant life. Sitting and Green are linked concepts in the first vision and this still sitting is where the Pure Awareness is. Kena cycling in a circle is in the last vision and is the way Kena works, as thoughts in the mind.
